In this lesson, the Cone of Experience is tackled. This is a visual model, pictorial device that presents bands of experience arranged according to degree of abstraction and not degree of difficulty. Let me enumerate the bands of experience in Dal's Cone of Experience. These bounds from the bottom to the top. Direct Purposeful Experiences, Contrived Experiences, Dramatized Experiences, Demonstrations, Study Trips, Exhibits, Educational Television, Motion Pictures, Recordings Radio Still Pictures, Visual Symbols, Verbal Symbols. I learned from these experiences that we do not use only one medium of communication, we may use many instructional materials to help the students conceptualize learning. When teaching, we don't have to stuck on one medium, we should have several. Let our student be in the top of learning, strive to bring them to the symbolic or abstract level to develop their HOTS or higher order thinking skills.

Lesson 4 :
The broad definition of educational technology encompasses systems or designs of instruction. In this lesson, system's or a systematic approach to instruction is discussed. The focus of systematic instructional planning is the student. The teacher should consider the student's needs, interest and readiness of the lesson and subject matter. The teacher should select the appropriate teaching styles, techniques and methods that would fit the student's ability, capacity and needs to learn. Appropriate materials, equipments and facilities should be considered. The teacher should refine processes, evaluate outcomes and implement instructions. I learned in this lesson that, we, teachers should always be aware of our students. We should not let them hate school but love it instead. We have to do our best in imparting our knowledge and lessons, do it a modest way. We may ensure that orderly relationships and interaction of human, technical, and environmental resources to fulfill the goals which have been established for instruction. When I will be a teacher, I will set goals and objectives in a clear manner and presentation so that it will be followed and checked time on time if it is fulfilled.

Lesson 3 :
Everything that is created by God has roles on earth. Just like technology, it has several roles why it exists. In this lesson, two views were given to present the roles of technology. First is the traditional point of view wherein technology serves as the delivery vehicles for instructional lessons, and serves as source and presenter of knowledge. It is assumed that "knowledge" is embedded in the technology and the technology presents that knowledge to the student. Second is the constructivist point of view which is considered as partners in the learning process, in this view, educational technology serves as learning tools that learners learn with. It provides opportunities for technology and learner interaction for meaningful learning. It is a facilitator of thinking and knowledge construction. In a short way, the difference of the two point of view on the roles of technology is simply goes like this Technology is a learning tool to learn with not to learn from.
In imparting my knowledge to my student, I will not spoon-feed them. I will make them discover all the things that they are curious upon. I am just here to support them and help them when they encounter difficulties in the learning processes.

Lesson 2 :
Is technology a boon or a bane? Let's first define the word boon, this means "blessing". While the word bane means "poison". Everything in this world has its advantages and disadvantages, just like the technology, if we use this in the the wrong manner then we cannot achieve the righteousness in using it. If we use it in the right way such as doing a research for a project or assignment, then it's a blessing because we can gain much knowledge that is also necessary for our learning and daily routine of our lives. But if we are just using technology in a wrong way and just for fun such as watching prohibited thing which is pornography, then you will be addicted on it, then, we could further say that it's poisoning our mind.
Going back to the question in the first paragraph, is technology a boon or a bane? , then, I could simply say that it depends upon how we use the technology that we have. If we use it to help impart knowledge, brainstorm our students, make them relate things and stuffs, make them think and realize the things happening in their lives, analyze something to make improvements in life , then it is a boon or a blessing. On the other hand, if we abuse it and use it in the wrong manner that could lead to addiction and poisoning one's mind, that could ruin one's mind then it is a bane. Someday, somehow, if I will become a teacher, I would make my students be aware of these stuffs to avoid addiction and poisoning of one's mind. I will let them aware on this thing and realize within themselves if they're using technology in a right way or contrary.

Lesson 1:
This lesson is all about the meaning of educational technology. Many meanings were given. Educational technology is a very broad term. It is the study and ethical practice of facilitating learning and improving performance by creating, using and managing appropriate technological processes and resources. Educational technology is most simply and comfortably defined as an array of tools that might prove helpful in advancing student learning. It is an application of scientific findings in our method, process or procedure of working in the field of education in order to effect learning. I've learned from this lesson that educational technology is much different from the technology in education. Someday, in the mere future, I could use this in teaching and imparting my knowledge to my dear students. I will not be behind of the learning of my students. I will be learning with them not that learning from. I will make sure that I will be an instrument to make their learning and knowledge be advanced and with the flow of the modern world.
